Bicycle crash – News blips vs. the personal story

Bicycle crashes rarely make more than a brief blip in the news, much like the story of Angela Sweet, http://westseattleblog.com/blog/?p=19928, who was found seriously hurt on Delridge in August.  Angela has been blogging about her recovery http://angelameowmeow.blogspot.com/ and there is an upcoming benefit concert http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/91359 to help pay the medical bills accumulated to repair her 22 fractures or broken bones and other injuries.

Details are still unclear and detectives are still investigating, but the story worth reading is the chronicle of Angela’s recovery.  The Seattle Times also has a story on Angela’s crash and recovery today: http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/localnews/2010545332_benefit19m.html
