King County Executive: Dow Constatine – Dow supports creating the new eastside BNSF trail.
Seattle Mayor: Mike McGinn – After the city council vote unanimously for the largest diameter traffic tunnel in the world under the most geologically unknown and unpredictable soil in the state where we don’t yet know where the funding will come from or who is on the hook for cost over-runs, all we can hope for is that Mike McGinn can make the state poney up on the cost over-runs.
City Attorney: Tom Carr – Tom bicycles and joined us at the recent Traffic Justice Summit to discuss the lack of penalties when cars kill cyclists. If only we had someone like him at the county level.
City Council Position #2: Richard Conlin – He bicycles and listens to bicycle concerns.
City Council Position #4: Sally Bradshaw – She is a Cascade Bicycle Club member.
City Council Position #6: Jessie Israel - Even though Nick Licata is fun, and he is the perpetual contrarian, he is usually good for pedestrian issues and sometimes even bicycle issues too. Jessie just has more enthusiasm for bicycling. Oh, and she approached us.
City Council Position #8: Mike O’Brien – No question about it. Mike even had group bike rides as campaign events.
